teaching

From 2007–2016 I was Head Of Foundation at LAMDA where I have been teaching since 2004.

I mostly teach Acting, specialising in improvised performance.

I have also taught at Birmingham University, The University Of Alberta, Mountview Theatre School, Italia Conti, The London School Of Dramatic Art and The London Film School.

Like many of my peers, my own personal improv journey has been greatly influenced by Adam Meggido’s work. Each and every encounter with Adam is both a complete pleasure and a profound learning opportunity. Adam’s teaching, coaching, directing, and produced work is both inspired and inspiring, and his vast and diverse knowledge, experience, vision, ambition, commitment and contribution to the art of improvised theatre is undeniable.

Ten years on I still use the tools Adam taught me in improv in order to stay in the moment and listen to my fellow actors. He instils confidence and creates a safe space in order to play, which is integral in training and beyond.
